By displaying Battlefield 2042 footage and then introducing it as a day one Title Pass game, Xbox could potentially generate a lot of hype for Xbox Game Pass. Because EA’s E3-equivalent event isn’t until July 22, it’s safe to assume that the Battlefield 2042 gameplay reveal will take place during the Xbox E3 2021 event. However, this Battlefield 2042 provides a feel for the upcoming shooter, providing uncut gameplay in stark contrast to the fast-paced trailers showcased alongside the reveal.
Although no specific time was given, June 13 falls on the same day as the Xbox E3 2021 press presentation. Both factions’ militaries will employ every tool at their disposal to influence the future in their favor. All the in-game experiences are built with both generation consoles in mind, so the previous-gen players need not worry.
